Datanet Systems&#8217; project envisaged the <strong>delivery, implementation, and commissioning of a national IP network for air navigation.<\/strong> The national network implementation objectives were the following:<\/p><ul><li>creating a high\u2212speed backbone network;<\/li><li>integration of all data communication services, IP and non\u2212IP radar and voice, both standard and proprietary;<\/li><li>converting point\u2212to\u2212point radar data to point\u2212to\u2212multipoint distribution by using network resources;<\/li><li>cost savings by switching from dedicated Long-distance communications for each service to a converged IP network;<\/li><li>centralized and local monitoring of service operation, reporting their availability parameters;<\/li><li>scalability and flexibility in defining future IPv4 and IPv6 services;<\/li><li>secure network integration with international partners\u2019 networks.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1982\" aria-expanded=\"false\">THE SOLUTION<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1982\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1982\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><h3><span style=\"color: #58585a;\">IP NETWORK FOR AIR NAVIGATION\u00a0 &#8211; <\/span><span style=\"color: #58585a;\">THE <strong>SOLUTION\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Addressing the client&#8217;s requirements meant adapting the <strong>&#8220;Integrated communications solution for Air Traffic <\/strong><strong>Control&#8221;<\/strong>, a design blueprint developed by Datanet Systems, whose full capabilities were demonstrated in the company\u2019s 20 years of operation.<\/p><p>The backbone network was built using fully redundant platforms from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisco.com\/\">Cisco<\/a> ASR1000 series. Depending on typology \u2212 airport or radar \u2212 each site included standard redundant blocks for Sync \/ Async serial services, analog voice, IP services using Cisco ISR, and Catalyst 385O series equipment. The network\u2019s intuitive and consistent design and services have been\u00a0 complemented by <strong>extensive customized training for <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20240205110024\/https:\/\/www.onda.ma\/\">ONDA<\/a> technical operational staff<\/strong>, allowing penetration and assimilation of new technologies within the organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><strong>The system can be extended and new modern features can be easily added<\/strong>, without affecting the operational traffic, being in full compliance with ATC&#8217;s security and availability
