Datanet System invites you to Connect Romania 2019
Oct. 2019
Connect Romania 2019, an event at which Datanet Systems is a Technology Partner, highlights both technological innovations in the industry and the 20-year anniversary of Cisco’s presence in Romania. The 2019 edition will take place in a new location (15th of October, at Face Convention Center, in Piata Presei Libere). The subjects prepared are extremely attractive: cloud security, Software Defined Everywhere, Software Assurance, telemetry, hyperconvergence, etc. This edition’s guest, Dirk Stoeckmann, Technical Solution Architect at Cisco, specializes in virtualization and automation solutions in Data Centers, and will outline security challenges in the cloud environment. The “meet the engineers” hub will also be organized at this edition, to give participants the opportunity to interact with the best Cisco engineers in Romania. The event maintains the structure of previous years, with a plenary session and technical seminars held in parallel, completed by an exhibition area where live presentations and demos will take place. As it does every year, Datanet Systems will interact with participants on all three levels. Starting at 10.00 am, Cristian Ceapă, Sales Manager Datanet Systems will hold a presentation entitled Software Defined Everywhere, a concept that generates long-term changes in the IT industry. The central topic will be Software Defined Network (SDN) an umbrella term that defines an architecture that segments the network and allows the management of all nodes through software. This facility adds elasticity, visibility and control in the development of networks and responds to the challenges of automation and robotization, BYOD, BigData, IoT. Starting at 11.30 am, senior engineers Faruk Hairedin and Octavian Szolga will highlight how the DNA Center solution is reinventing the enterprise network. DNA Center collects and processes data from all areas of the network, correlates them and compares performance at the level of each user and equipment (switches, routers and wireless controllers) by referring to the basic parameters, predefined in terms of security and access policies. Complementary, at Datanet Systems’ booth, starting at 12:15 pm, there will be a live session on the theme “ACI Multi-Pod Vs. Multi-site” supported by Alexandru Gheorghiță, Data Center Team Leader. The session will identify the benefits and differences of these architectural approaches for interconnecting and managing multiple locations. Connect Romania was launched in 2002 under the name Cisco Expo. The 2018 edition brought together over 1,200 participants, one of the largest tech communities in Romania.
