Between 23^rd and 25^th of September 2019, Datanet Systems participates in Expoapa 2019, the largest event in Romania, dedicated to water and waste water companies. Arriving at edition no. 21, Expoapa is held at the Parliament Palace and includes an extensive series of conferences (Regional Water Forum – Eastern Europe), practical presentations and workshops, as well as an exhibition area

For Datanet Systems is the first participation at ExpoApa, and at the 30 sqm stand (Take Ionescu Hall, stand no. 50) will be exhibited equipment and solutions dedicated to the remote reading projects, developed by both Datanet Systems and Soitron Group, from which the company is part of. Among the products and solutions presented are:

• LoRa radio remote control module for water meters (Sensus, Itron, Corona, Elster, Maddalena)
• Datanet LORA-FTG (LoRa File Transfer Gateway) integrated equipment (radio gateway, network server, application server) specially designed for remote reading projects;
• Complete LOTT Smart Water telecommunication system (developed within the Soitron group)

Additionally, the company’s specialists will run multiple demonstration sessions and explain to visitors the benefits of using IoT technologies in water companies. Remote reading systems are becoming widely used by water companies because this technology has low investment costs, greatly improves work efficiency and reduces the human error rate when reading. This technology also eliminates the need for site visits and reduces the risk of fraud. According to the ASDReports study (“Smart Water Management Market by Advanced Water Meters”), global investments in smart water management systems will reach $ 20 billion in 2021, with an annual growth rate of about 19%.

At Expoapa 2019 are expected representatives of public water and waste water companies, central and local authorities, higher education and research institutions, international profile organizations, as well as the largest companies producing technologies and equipment in this field. The event is organized by the Romanian Water Association (ARA).
