VIRTUALIZATION AND CLOUD ORCHESTRATION 

Virtualization is the process of creating a software-based representation of an application, server, storage environment, and network. It is the most efficient way to lower IT costs while stimulating efficiency and agility for businesses of all sizes.

Due to the limitations of x86 servers, application servers usually operate at a fraction of their capacity, due to the limited speed of access to the stored data and to the network. The result: huge inefficiencies and excessive operating costs. Virtualization is software-based to simulate hardware functionality and create a virtual computer system.
